Figured y'all deserved an update on my situation. This is a bit of an awkward thing to talk about so I won't go into a ton of detail. Linked above is a gofundme my mom set up that gives the quick version. Basically, we're moving, to put it nicely. Because of this, I may go dark for some periods and projects such as the blog will be up on the air. I know that's hardly the most important thing compared to the real life stuff but I should at least let people know why my online projects will be touch and go for the near future. I got this year's halloween episode and random halloween episodes 3 set to go up this week, and I finished the DreamWorks specials post a little awhile so that will go up in late November. Anything aside of that, who knows. We're trying our best and I hope to get to a good place soon. For now, this was a quick update to let you know why I me on and off with things, and also why I may not be super energetic when I am doing stuff lol. But yeah, that's about it for
Okay, so I had this sort of weird journal entry idea about MrEnter that I've wanted to write about for a little while. It's just some weird little observation I had. Okay, so here's a story that I think is a good illustration of two points I'd like to make: 1) MrEnter is not very good at criticising cartoons. 2) A lot of criticism of his criticism is also not very good. Okay, so here's the story. Awhile back, I remember re-watching an old video - MrEnter's 'Animated Atrocities' review of the SpongeBob episode "Squid Baby." The plot is that SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally cause Squidward to get some sort of head trauma which causes him to revert to the mentality of a baby. At one point in the review, MrEnter criticizes the episode, going on what he jokingly calls a "Nerd Rant" about a joke where a doctor diagnoses Squidward with "Head-Go-Boom-Boom-itis." Enter's issue with the joke is that he perceives it as an example of cartoons or people or whatever misusing the suffix
